Flare Health Pty Ltd ("Flare", "we", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal and health information collected through our skin cancer screening platform. This policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and disclose information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and applicable state and territory health records legislation.
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information through our platform:
- Personal information: name, email address, phone number, employer details, and job role.
- Health information: photographs of skin lesions, body map data, clinical notes, and screening outcomes.
- Technical information: device type, browser, and usage data necessary for platform operation.
How we use your information
Information is used to deliver clinical skin surveillance services, including image review by nurse practitioners and GPs, generating referrals, and providing aggregate reporting to employers. We do not share individual health results with employers.
Data storage and security
All health information is encrypted in transit and at rest. Data is stored in Australian-hosted infrastructure with strict access controls. Access to health information is limited to authorised clinical personnel involved in the review process.
